an assortment of photos and pictures, which there will be more of when i buy a few more frames... whole wall will be covered..

shabby stereo.. picture of dead grandmother

see my fancy apothocary jars on the right? full of teeth and bugs! the wooden shelf they came in works well for holding fancy my antique jewelry too

dear seattle,

we often have our disagreements. you are home to some horrid people and some awful situations.. but all in all i do adore you.

when summer rolls in and you present me with camping, weekend escapes to portland, amazing bands, amazing friends and even a boy to make me smile... well, my little heart just swells with joy.

i know i've said some mean stuff about you, probably while drunk. honestly though, you have royaly fucked me over on more then a few occasions.

still, i want you to know its hard for me to imagine life without you. so even though i might attempt it, or experiment with other places.. most likely i will be home soon enough.

love always,
A

that show was great. if you missed the tour you are sad. you are. i bet you're crying even now.

coming home after traveling all across the u.s. for a month is odd. it wasnt a huge span of time but all sorts of things changed. dynamics. friendships. living situations. relationships. the mental health of those i love.

i feel like it took that month or so for me to free myself from myself. from all the drama and sadness of this city.

now i'm standing on the edge of this huge metaphorical lake and everyone wants me to go swimming.
and for a moment i say to myself "everyone else is swimming, its what we do.."
then i realize i dont want to swim in it again.. i liked being free.
lonely, struggling and sun burnt.. but free.

anyhow no one read this shit so here are some pictures. no cut.

either way, the east coast is not for me.

except philly. i love philly. i may move to philly.

PLEASE DO THIS 'FREE' GOOD DEED - Animal Rescue

Hi, all you animal lovers. This is pretty simple... Please tell ten friends to tell ten today! The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on its website daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals.

It takes less than a minute (How about 20 seconds) to go to their site and click on the purple box 'fund food for animals' for free. This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising.
Here's the web site! Pass it along to people you know.

Lux Interior, lead singer of The Cramps, passed away this morning due to an existing heart condition at Glendale Memorial Hospital in Glendale, California at 4:30 AM PST today. Lux has been an inspiration and influence to millions of artists and fans around the world. He and wife Poison Ivy’s contributions with The Cramps have had an immeasurable impact on modern music.

The Cramps emerged from the original New York punk scene of CBGB and Max’s Kansas City, with a singular sound and iconography. Their distinct take on rockabilly and surf along with their midnight movie imagery reminded us all just how exciting, dangerous, vital and sexy rock and roll should be and has spawned entire subcultures. Lux was a fearless frontman who transformed every stage he stepped on into a place of passion, abandon, and true freedom. He is a rare icon who will be missed dearly.

anyone up for taking a tour bus to hell?

xo

its amazing how 6 inches or so of snow shut down a whole city, bring public transportation to a halt, crash tour buses, cracks skulls and delight children all at the same time.

walked to work in freezy frozy storm two days in a row,
to find out that i get a "VACATION" ... whether i want it or not.
out of work til the 5th. fuck this.

saw a guy lying on the sidewalk this morning on my way to work. late i found out he hand fallen and cracked his head open....

two tour buses collided and one almost fell off an overpass onto the freeway. it hung off the side.
( more here = http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5gWS764MlrjHSrgpevNZzvW7RqTXwD9565GEO0)

"The snowstorm was ushered in at about 5 a.m. by booming thunder that echoed eerily across the region and sent flashes of lightning piercing through the early morning darkness.

Throughout the region, side streets and hills continued to pose a problem for drivers, with a steady stream of collisions being reported. Those who decided to leave their cars at home and take public transportation were only a little better off, as many buses could not reach all roads on the schedule routes, and some were involved in accidents.
"

however it was totally beautiful!
the snow flakes were amazing, the dirty city blanketed in pure white only touched by racoon paws and bird feet!!
quiet, pure, clean, crisp... beautiful.

oh yeah.
and fucking freezing.

but hey - no customers! no food! no handling raw meat! no 'take out those piercings and cover those tattoos'! just me in the basement playing on the computer.
